Computer Based Test (CBT) Policies:
- Honor Code Policy:
The provisions of the JMU Honor System and Honor Code shall apply to all computer based testing taken in the Assessment and Testing Center. Every student is automatically subject to the provisions of the Honor System. Ignorance of what constitutes an Honor Code violation is not a defense to a violation.
- Talking Policy:
Talking to anyone other than a faculty member, the lab manager, or student proctor, during the completion of any computer based testing taken in the Assessment and Testing Center will be considered an Honor Code offense. If you talk to a fellow student while in the lab, you may be dismissed from the lab immediately.
- Electronic Device Policy:
Use of any electronic device, such as a cell phone, laptop, or tablet, is strictly prohibited during the completion of any computer based testing taken in the Assessment and Testing Center. If you use your electronic device during the testing session, you will be dismissed from the lab immediately.
- Civility Policy:
Anyone who engages in disruptive, volatile, hostile, or aggressive communication or actions toward lab personnel, administrators, students, and other members of the community, or damages or destroys JMU property will be reported to the police.
- Please email David Yang at email@example.com if you encountered any problem while testing (please include details.)
